How we research
We cover 40 festivals in the US and Europe. Each guide puts the dates, the weather, the rules at the gate and the scene’s dress code on one page.
Where facts come from
Dates and rules come from each festival’s own website wherever we could read it. Style notes come from fashion press and trend reports, and every one links to its source. If we couldn’t confirm something, the page says so rather than guessing.
Dates that haven’t been announced are shown as “not announced”, never as a guess. When a festival finishes, its name is struck through on the season poster and its guide stays up until the next dates are out.
Photos and video
We only use photos taken at the festival they illustrate, shared by their photographers under open licences that allow commercial use and editing. Each one is credited where it appears and on the credits page. We don’t use stock photos or AI images, and we don’t put close-ups of festival-goers next to shop buttons.
Videos are the festivals’ official uploads and only load when you press play.
What we won’t do
- Make up prices, reviews, quotes or statistics.
- Use festival logos or suggest a festival works with us. It doesn’t.
- Hide that a link earns us money. See shop links and ads.
